Aura Posted March 1, 2016 ID:1022616 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Hi Thaden Only members of the Malware Hunter (like myself) are allowed to download samples uploaded in the Research Center of the forum, as described in the thread below. https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/31139-malware-hunters-group/ Obviously, members of a group that "overrides" the Malware Hunter ones are also allowed to download samples like Experts, Staff, Moderators, etc. (as far as I know, Honorary Members do not have this previlege). The goal of reporting samples here are for Malwarebytes to analyze them and include them in their databases so users can be protected against them, it isn't for anyone to come here, download them for X reason (and if this was allowed, you bet that a lot of users would end up infecting themselves with the samples by being careless).
