OfficeClickToRun detection

I also had a similar experience:

  • OfficeClickToRun.exe detected (running Office 2016)
  • OfficeClickToRun.exe was NOT in my Exclusion list though
  • OfficeClickToRun.exe never appeared in Quarantine list (even though Anti-Ransomeware indicated file was Quarantined)
  • No Office 2016 programs would run after detection. Had to perform Repair installation on Office 2016 to correct.
  • Protection started fine after clicking "Fix Now" (as I often have to do)

Hello WeeLittleNano and :welcome:

In rare instances, a few thoughtful beta testers have observed protection difficulties after having upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10.

If a simple system restart has not resolved the MBARW disabled protection issue, a clean re-install may be helpful:

Please do a conventional Windows uninstall of MBARW where a careful double-check assures that the below directories in a 64-bit system are deleted:

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\

C:\ProgramData\MBAMService\

Please follow with a system restart and then a system Administrator/Windows based install of MBARW Beta5.

Thank you for your continuing beta tests of MBARW.
