Empty Quarantine

Not sure if this has been posted but I'm trying the anti-ransomware and sometimes it shows "Ransomware Detected" but "Process" is blank and "Action" is "Moved to Quarantine". However, when I check in the "Quarantine" it is blank. There is nothing.

How do I know what process it was blocked and when?

Here's some more information:

MalwareBytes Anti-Ransomware version 0.9.14.361

Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi:

AFAIK, this has been reported at least a few times, e.g. here: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/178549-false-positive-unknown/

It may assist the developers if you could please zip up and attach the following logs to your next reply here in this thread:

  1. A ZIP of the directory C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware\
  2. Another ZIP of the directoy C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs\

Thanks!

Hello oscar:

None of Microsoft's Windows servers (including Windows Server 2012 R2) are presently supported by MBARW beta per the authoritative answer at https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/178399-mbarw-not-work-in-windows-server-2008-2008-r2-and-2012/#entry1017917.

Thank you for your interest in MBARW.

I still have one more question though. WHen you say the Win servers are not supported, does it mean MBARW Beta doesnt work on these servers at all or just not supported for development, fixes, etc.?

A Malwarebytes staffer may weigh-in but at this point you are advised in the strongest terms to uninstall MBARW beta from what could certainly be a production environment's server lest possible catastrophic circumstances prevail.

Thank you.
