Mattyz Posted February 14, 2016 ID:1019327 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Hello. I'd like some advice on a situation which I'm, at a total loss with. Recently out of no where I started getting random popups when ever I visited random websites while using chrome. My Kaspersky Anti virus didn't find anything so I downloaded Malwarebytes. After the initial full scan it did find quite a number of problems which were fixed. But after the pc restart MalwareBytes kept blocking outgoing I.P addressees constantly. I have downloaded HitmanPro, adwcleaner, rkill, the malwarebytes rootkit scan. Nada. Nothing is found. I no longer get random popups to websites but I do sometimes get some random tab opened when I'm browsing the internet and its blank. The Kaspersky Rootkit scan finds the " Trojan.Multi.GenAutorunTask.a " which in the location : System memory. When it is found, Kaspersky allows me to 'disinfect and restart the computer' which I do. But then as the computer starts to close everything down an error tab pops up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------rundll32.exe -Bad Image C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\wow64.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or a software vendor for support. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- then when i click "ok" another error pops up --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NvBackend.exe - Bad Image C:\Windows\system32\nvapi.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or a software vendor for support. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and when I press "ok" these two error keep poping up few dozen times while I spam ok and the pc restarts. After the restart the pc is 'clean' and kaspersky cannot find anything. Until later on or the next day the Trojan.Multi.GenAutorunTask.a pops up again. And on another note I'm not sure if it is related but I bought today the full version of MalwareBytes, and when I try to activate it it says I need to be connected to the internet to do so. ( I have double checked that my date is indeed correct on the pc) Thank you for your time.

Mattyz Posted February 16, 2016 Author ID:1019697 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Not sure if I'm suppose to reply here or but here goes. One of the drives that was part of the system was part of the family computer, I have got rid of as much as as I could find and disconnected the drive as per request. If anything else found please let me know as I want to get rid of them, as it would make sense all of these problems may have risen in the first place due to them. These are the re scanned files. Thank you for your help. FRST.txtAddition.txt
TwinHeadedEagle Posted February 16, 2016 ID:1019766 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine. Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable. Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop: Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!Right-click on icon and select Run as Administrator to start the tool. (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).Press the Fix button just once and wait.If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run. When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.Please upload it to your reply.fixlist.txt

Mattyz Posted February 16, 2016 Author ID:1019835 Share Posted February 16, 2016 The Kaspersky seems to not find anything, but trying to activate the premium license of malwarebytes still brings up the error saying I must be connected to the internet. I have checked the date and time and it seems to be in check. I looked around the forums but not sure what the problem is.
