Adding Filenames to IGNORE LIST

Recommended Posts

I'm running v1.75.0.1300 on my Win2K laptop.

When trying to add a file to my IGNORE LIST, I can only browse to a specific drive/folder/file.  Is it possible to add (only) a filename to the list so it gets ignored no matter where it is located (in multiple locations)?

The "ignore" data seems to live in EXCLUSIONS.DAT, which is a binary file (so I can't readily remove the path reference there).

Thanks.

Jerry

Hello and Welcome!

No there is no way to just add a file name at this time that I know of.  You have to browse to the location.  Besides blindly excluding a filename no matter where it is, is not recommended as malware can use legitimate file names to infect a system.

Also it is not recommended to try and modify the EXCLUSIONS.DAT file.
