Settings & Log Reports Disagree

I have "Scan for Rootkits" selected in Detection & Protection.  However, when checking several Scan Log entries, it tells me rootkit is disabled.

Any ideas why I'm seeing this?

Hi: :)

AFAIK, that's a longstanding, known issue on some systems due to be fixed with a future build.

Having said that, there are 2 places to enable ARK (anti-rootkit) scanning:

1) The "global" setting: Dashboard > Settings > Detection and Protection; AND

2) The specific, advanced setting for your scheduled scan task in the automated scheduler.

Please let us know if that doesn't explain the behavior you report.

Cheers,
