Be Wary of Using MBARW

When installing Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware and you have Java installed it detects one of the main components of Java saying that it's detecting Ransomware activity. I got Java from java.com so why is it detecting it. Also be alert if it does, because it triggers a Blue Screen of Death. If anyone has had experiences with it then i'm not the only one.

It detects Javaw.exe as malicious.

Hello RoTmOrk:

Just so you know, the accepted acronym for Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware is MBARW. Using MBAR leads indexing applications and search engines to a classification related to Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit Beta.

I encourage you to report your findings as a MBARW False Positive (FP) by reading How to report a False Positive and start your own topic in Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta.

Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your feedback.
