Hi,

I have exactly the same problem on both my Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4.

I'm running Bitdefender 2016 Total Security and the latest version of Malwarebytes. I've had three BSODs in the past two days on my SP4: two BAD_POOL_HEADER, and one BAD_POOL_CALLER.

BlueScreenView reports in the "Caused By Driver" field:

ntoskrnl.exe

Ndu.sys

tcpip.sys

After reading this thread, I disabled "Malicious Website Protection" in Malwarebytes. Hopefully that will stop the BSODs.

I know from previous work that BD 2015 + MBAM works. BD 2016 + MBAM = BSOD probably once per day.

I use Firefox, too, but I haven't tried to open lots of tabs to try to cause a BSOD. I'll try that after I post this.

I have a feeling that the problem isn't with MBAM, but the  firewall code in BD 2016. Has anyone tried turning off the BD 2016 firewall to see if that stops the BSODs?

Thanks,

Steve
