cookye Posted January 2, 2016 ID:1010449 Share Posted January 2, 2016 Hello,I'm a new member on this forum and I request some help please. Recently (2 hours ago) an icon in the application bar came up in my "volume mixer" in windows (see picture) now, I know what charms are in windows 8 but untill now it didn't show up there. I don't see any particular changes other then "it" showing there, all works ok (maybe some delays in Chrome? but maybe that is normal). I ran scans with malware bytes and not only (see picture) nothing was found....I'm very confused.- Can anyone pinpoint this and tell me what it really is or may be?ADDITIONAL DETAILS:- Windows 8,1 x64- Didn't install anything unusual recently, some games maybe but on steam (I highly doubt steam games comes with malware) Thank you. cookye Posted January 2, 2016 Author ID:1010464 Share Posted January 2, 2016 First, sorry for the peer2peer software* Second: I recalled that yesterday (didn't have charm bar there) chrome misbehaved strangely, could not close any tabs and the delay was extended, though after a restart it was fine, this may be tied to chrome browser * Second: If I move the volume bar at that "charm bar" up/down it's synced to the sound bar at the start (see picture attached), also my windows updates are OFF sinse 1month ago, so nothing could have been updated and suddenly appear as an windows app at my sound mixer.REPORTS:- Attached Rogue report txt file (and a pic attached for fast view of what it detected)- Attached MalwareBytes txt file (I think it gave me the wrong report? But if I doubled clicked my latest scan and then click export that's what it gives me) *Farbar Recovery tool > having issues with this one for some reason....trying to find solution* Question: Is that charm bar a normal thing for windows 8.1 users? (to be in sound mix)Thank you. p.s: I can c/p the txt from the reports directly in my post if you wishMB Report.txtreport rogue.txt

kevinf80 Posted January 2, 2016 ID:1010495 Share Posted January 2, 2016 I made you aware of forum protocol in my opening reply, unfortunately the FRST logs do show illegal software installed and active on your system. That is a direct breach of forum protocol, as such I cannot offer any further help. Your thread will be locked and closed....
