MBAM opening constantly

Recommended Posts

Hi:

A quick look shows that you are now using Free, but have previously used the Trial.

So, it may be that MBAM didn't revert itself cleanly to the Free version when the Trial ended or when you ended it manually.

So, if rebooting the system doesn't resolve the issue, I suggest starting here:

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt) -- if you need to run FRST again, please place a checkmark in the "Addition.txt" option before scanning.
  • NOTE: More info about v2.2.0 HERE; User Guide ONLINE; User Guide PDF; FAQ: Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

P.S. Your logs also show that you are running 64-bit Win10 on a system with less than 2 GB of RAM. I didn't know that was even possible. Is it working OK? :unsure:

Thank you for the reply. Iwill do this and report back with a post edit. Yes, the combination of Win10 and RAM is odd, but it seems to work okay lol. The laptop came with Win7 when it was bought a few years ago.

OK, that sounds good.

Post back whenever you are ready.

{{Off-topic: your system would probably run much better with more RAM, if the mobo and hardware specs will accommodate it. RAM is cheap. Just a thought.}}

Thanks,

P.S. If you could please use the  vEsOWqp.png button, instead of the JlJ2Op6.png button, it would be easier for everyone to follow the thread. Thanks! :)
