Question about invalid security certificate

Was pointed out by Firefox today that a website's security certificate was invalid - cannot verify server identity.

The website seemed to be working properly a few months ago.

Didn't type in any information into the site but accessed it about 3 times. Will not do so again.

Sorry for the abject lack of knowledge, but is my PC at any risk?

Cheers and thanks,

V

No.  Revoked or expired certificates does not garner an automatic "at risk" issue.  If it for a web site the question becomes one of vetting and trust of the content of the web site.

Questions like...

Do I need to access this web site ?

Is the certificate just expired and needs to be renewed ?
