Trojan fake ms

Recommended Posts

Recently installed Malwarebytes anti malware and scanned my PC. The scan found a virus called Trojan fake.ms which malware seemed to remove and after this I have run four further scans and found nothing. I also have Mcafee internet security installed, which did not detect any issues.

Reason for contacting you is to confirm that it is that straight forward to remove this problem. why I ask this is that ever since I did this I am having problems with the mouse pointer disappearing of the screen, screen appearing to freeze.

I have read that is virus works in the background and can cause all sorts of issues. I am a Joe public user not into computer tech speak so wondered if you help. would Malware bytes have cleaned this virus out completely or is there something else I need to as well.
