My Malwarebytes Premium won't activate and runs in FREE version only

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Last I bought the Premium version for this computer and it ran well (as far as I know) up until about a week before it's one year expiration date.  It reverted to FREE version and at that time I opened a support ticket to ask about it.  It took about a week of back and forth, and suddenly my case was marked as "Resolved" because I suppose it became a moot point at the expiration date.

This week, on Cyber Monday, I bought the Premium version again, this time for 2 computers but it will NOT activate.  (It runs and scans as a FREE version.  When I run it, first I download the updates and then scan, and it fins nothing amiss.)

When I try to activate the license key, a box pops up telling me "..you have to be connected to the internet to activate..."  BUT, of course, I am connected.  I used the mbam removal tool to wipe Malwarebytes off my computer, rebooted, and started again. Same issue, it won't activate my KEY, telling me I'm not connected to the internet.

My computer runs fine and I've never noticed any odd behavior.  There don't seem to be any viruses.  I've been using Kaspersky antivirus for a year now as well and it seems to run fine too.  I use my Windows Firewall without having made any adjustments to it.

My issues is -- What could have happened In the last week or so to make my Malwarebytes Premium NOT want to activate and only run as a manual scan in FREE version mode?

Attached here is the FARBAR recovery tool scan with it's resulting lists.

Thanks in advance for assistance in this matter!

Sue
