How to Set Exclusions for MBAM in Windows Defender Win 10 Nov 2015 update?

I ask because the Win 10 Nov 2015 update changed the way you add file process exclusions. You can no longer browse and select files, now you have to type a file name.

Go to Settings and select Update & security > Windows Defender. Under Processes: Exclusions, select Add an exclusion. Select the Add button, navigate to the file, folder, or process, and then select Exclude this file.

You can no longer navigate and select files, you now have to manually type a new exclusion name in a form field.

You used to be able to navigate and select

C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

I cannot find any Microsoft documentation on this.

Now that you have to type a new exclusion name in a form field, what do we enter here?

all these one at a time? Does the file path not matter anymore?

mbam.exe

mbamdor.exe

mbampt.exe

mbamresearch.exe

mbamscheduler.exe

mbamservice.exe

To see the new Windows defender settings, look at the section on this site: 7. To Exclude a Process

http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5924-windows-defender-exclusions-add-remove-windows-10-a.html

You have to have the Win 10 Nov 2015 update installed for these changes.

To see your current Windows 10 version number, press on the Win Key + R keys and enter winver then press on Enter. It'll be displayed in the window that will pop up.

My winver shows Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.14)

Thanks for any help

You have to do it one file path at a time. I copy and paste each one in to the box.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamdor.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbampt.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamresearch.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamscheduler.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
