Can't remove PUP.Optional.MySearchDial

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I've noticed that my browsers don't work properly.

My Antivirus (ESET NOD32) doesn't find anything. So I've tried download Malwarebytes and I can't access to website (as to this forum).

I've reboot and start in safe mode; I've noticed that in safe mode browsers work properly: so I've downloaded malwarebytes and adware clean and both have found MySearchDial (see attached files).

I delete it but I still have the same problem (I can't access hotmail, gmail, facebook don't work properly, etc.). If I scan again with malwarebytes, it doesn't find anything.

Following instruction, in the attached files you'll find also FRST.txt form Farbar Recovery Scan Tool.

What can i do right now?

Thank you for your replies.

Dear Kevin,

I've followed your instructions and I post the zoek log file.

Now I can access to my mail box (Hotmail), but, as you can see in the attached screenshots, browser doesn't work properly.

At the same time, I can't access to other websites like this forum.

Websites that previously work, now are still working good.

Run the following to clean up..

Download "Delfix by Xplode" and save it to your desktop.

Or use the following if first link is down:

"Delfix link mirror"

Double Click to start the program. If you are using Vista or higher, please right-click and choose run as administrator

Make Sure the following items are checked:

  •
  • Remove disinfection tools

Now click on "Run" and wait patiently until the tool has completed.

The tool will create a log when it has completed. We don't need you to post this.
