Creative THX TruStudio Pro THXLgcy.dll File and Module being detected as Trojan.Injector, FP?

Hello,

 

I just ran a custom scan with rootkit scan on. The scan detected this THXLgcy.dll File and Module as being a Trojan.Injector virus. Is this a false positive? It also detected a potentially unwanted program, although I found no files, just folders being detected for the PUP.Optional.ASK.Gen

 

Please see attached log file and zipped detected file/module for reference. Let me know if any of these are real threats or anything to worry about.Thanks.

Hi,

 

The Trojan.Injector one was indeed a false positive and has been fixed a couple of database updates ago already.

The PUP.Optional.ASK.Gen is however a valid detection where it deals with some remnants related with an older Ask toolbar. So that's Ok to remove anyway.

OK cool. Thanks. So it shouldn't show up in new scans if I update my mbam database?
