Bug? and solution (Problem detecting up to date version with limited Internet access)

Recommended Posts

Version: 7.6.4 (last at the moment of using the tool)
System: PC with Windows 7 SP1 32 bits, administrative account without UAC
In the PC, at work, I have limited Internet access (our net admin blocks by default and have some sites in white list). When run JRT, it check Internet connection (pinging google). Because Google access is ok, JRT tries to get jrtnewmd5 with no luck. That set errorlevel to 1 and, then, script "thinks" there is an update and tries to download and start it with no luck (the errorlevel check is for the comparison between jrtnewmd5 and jrtcurrentmd5).
To solve this problem, I added the following line:
IF NOT EXIST "%temp%\jrt\jrtnewmd5" goto Disclaimer
just after the command that download jrtnewmd5 (line 25 in get.bat)
I'm a regular user: is one of the first things I execute when I'm checking a slow/infected system. Its a must have and I want to thanks thisisu for making this great tool.
