Malware not detected nor removed

I have the following two malware items affecting my computer: "PUP.4Shared/Variant" and "Conduit Search Toolbar". Malwarebytes Premium does not see these items and consequently cannot remove them. How do I get rid of "PUP.4Shared/Variant" and "Conduit Search Toolbar"?

MBAM is quite effective at removing PUPs.

So, you might want to check to be sure your settings are correct for MBAM to both DETECT and REMOVE PUPs (see screen shot).

 

Having said that, some PUPs (including Conduit) may require the use of multiple different specialized tools for complete removal.

Another explanation is that they could be unknowingly reinstalled, bundled, along with other software on your system.
