muvz Posted October 30, 2015 Author ID:998888 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Same purpose as virustotal.com, so do you have any legitimate reason for blocking refud.me or will we have to get legal on this?
muvz Posted October 30, 2015 Author ID:998891 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Can you please tell me the purpose of refud.me? Also, since when do I have to explain the purpose of a website so that Malwarebytes doesn't mark it as malicious? Am I exploiting any visitors in any way or forcing them to download/install any malware or collecting any private info? I didn't think so either, so please do explain to me how you consider it malicious to the users visiting it? I apologize if I sound outraged but this situation is ridiculous, 3 days later still no resolution to this issue.
Staff Zynthesist Posted October 31, 2015 Staff ID:998897 Share Posted October 31, 2015 I asked about the purpose merely to get your opinion. Comparing this skid site to Virus Total is just a tad bit off... Block will remain.

Yes, I have purchased all the correct licenses to use their software. Now, what actual risks to security are there that would cause you to block it? Staff Zynthesist Posted October 31, 2015 Staff ID:998916 Share Posted October 31, 2015 Muvz, Do you have an agreement with Malwarebytes to use our product in such fashion? This requires a special agreement between the site owner and Malwarebytes, or it violates the EULA. @ Illidan Actually you have no business interjecting in this thread as you are not the original poster (Important: Please Read Before Reporting A False Positive - Post #2) Furthermore since the site is using Malwarebytes in an unauthorized fashion, it is Malwarebytes' business.
