Nonnymouse Posted October 20, 2015 ID:996739 Share Posted October 20, 2015 Hi there,I recently installed malwarebytes, ran a scan and it found the following. Android/PUP.HackTool.MgYun.aIn /system/app/Superclean.apkWhen I try to delete it through malwarebytes, it says that it cannot be deleted, and I do not appear to have the Superclean app installed. Is there any other way to delete it? Many thanks in advance.
Staff a_Mbam Posted October 21, 2015 Staff ID:996927 Share Posted October 21, 2015 Hi Nonnymouse, What device do you have? Unfortunately some of these "grayware" apps come preinstalled and be can't removed easily because it is installed at the system level, but you can disable via Android's App Settings. Dirty tricks by some distributors. You can also whitelist the detection in MBAM Mobile by choosing 'Ignore Always" on detection.
