Possible Malware Infection, please help!

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am not sure what is wrong with my laptop, I recently did a clean install for Windows 10 using the Windows 10 Recovery system. Despite it being a clean install, it seems to be suffering.

And so far, the Microsoft site has been rather strange. I have been trying to download Direct X, but it always redirects me to a Windows 7 downloader...

Anyways, I believe it could be a possible infection. I deleted the hosts file to reset to default and some things went to normal, but whenever I restart my laptop, some sites show "Server Not Found". Restoring hosts file to default is only a temporary fix.

Malwarebytes never picked anything up, so I am worried.

Another symptom I noticed is that my laptop freezes, and then after a while it blacks out and restarts. The events log picks it up as a lack of power or something...

Please help me!

Also, I tried to just copy and paste the logs into my reply, but the thread creator said the post was too long.
