Many thanks TwinHeadedEagle.

I have an ad system that appears to have taken over Firefox but not IE or Opera. I suspect it download with something else when I wasn't paying attention to the decline buttons.

Malwarebytes says the system has no threats. I have removed all the extensions. There are no unknown programmes installed and a variety of other ad cleaners say that my machine is clean.

A sceenshot just show the page but there are two block ads on the left and right at the bottom of the window and a narrower one that runs between them. Random words are turned into mouse over links and a new page is opened when I click something. When I attempt to close it, it puts up the 'Leave page' or 'Continue' message.

I have unnstalled and reinstalled Firefox but no difference. I have also upgraded to Windows 10 since Microsoft were ready for me, also no change.

I have run the scanner and files are attached.

I shall now await you consideration.

John
