PUP.Optional.AdPeak reappears after restarting

Hi!

 

I think I need some expert help.

I have an x64 Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10.

 

I had a glitch today and couldn't open Firefox or Norton, but MBAM opened, updated, and found two PUP.Optional.AdPeak items.  However, after the automatic restart, these items continue to reappear.

 

I've attached the MBAM log.

 

I attempted to download the x64 Farbar Recovery Scan Tool from the Bleepingcomputer site, but Norton Antivirus flagged is as unsafe and automatically deleted it.

 

I thought it best to wait for further instructions...

Not actively.  I could uninstall or delete it if needed.

Yes, try to do it and then report back if MalwareBytes is finding it again.

I did a standard "uninstall", restarted the computer, updated MBAM, and scanned.

Nothing was found.
