Why do I see ads in a paid program?

Recommended Posts

I am sensitive to ads

I don't like Ad's either. But I am going to say this and you will differ from me.

This ONLY shows during a manual scan. I never see them because mine are automatic. You can just minimize that window if it bothers you so much. They are just info about other Malwarebytes products and nothing else.

We can agree to disagree. My .02 worth.

There was a long discussion when version 2.x first came out in beta testing.  The amount of ads (per say since they are only about Malwarebytes) were reduce to only what you see now.

For the most part, its like what Porthos has mentioned, since most of us have paid versions, and our scans running silently we really never see the GUI so we are not bothered by the ads.

Most of us here really never open the GUI unless something is detected, or we happen to install a new version and what to see what's changed.

ohh you're right it ws only there during the scan. That's fine then since I only scan once when I first install it and never scan again.

Thanks
