Having Trouble Getting Rid of "ads by LaSuperba" virus

END

Recommended Posts

In the past 3 days I have had non-website based ads, pop-up windows, and hyperlink changing for various ads with a logo and "ads by LaSuperba" in the corner of my browser screen. Symantec anti virus didn't detect it and a malware removal program didn't get rid of it.

The virus seems exactly like the one from this thread- https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/173347-strange-popups-and-ads-no-anti-malware-seems-to-fix/

Should I copy the fixes said there or get individual help for this?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.  :)

I have the same problem with LaSuperba.

Kaspersky, MalwareBytes,AdwCleaner do not erase the malware.

My professionnal PC is infected, and I cannot continue working with it.

Does MalwareBytes Team have progressed against this very painful malware ?

One person's "ads by lasuperba" issue was resolved here- https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/173347-strange-popups-and-ads-no-anti-malware-seems-to-fix/?hl=lasuperba

The problem hasn't changed.

I have attached the scan log and a list of all sites sent to by the virus in reverse order.

I've also noticed the redirect link for many of the hyperlink changes starts with "s.hklmm.com".

Also while online, even when there isn't pop-ups there will be a lot of unrelated web addresses "loading" or "waiting for".

Excellent, continue to clean up:

Download "Delfix by Xplode" and save it to your desktop.

Or use the following if first link is down:

"Delfix link mirror"

Double Click to start the program. If you are using Vista or higher, please right-click and choose run as administrator

Make Sure the following items are checked:

  •
  • Remove disinfection tools

  • Purge System Restore <--- this will remove all previous and possibly exploited restore points, a new point relative to system status at present will be created.

  • Reset system settings

Now click on "Run" and wait patiently until the tool has completed.

The tool will create a log when it has completed. We don't need you to post this.

Any remnant files/logs from tools we have used can be deleted…
