Possible Fasle positive in Game Trainer.

Recommended Posts

This is my first time posting here, not sure how to go about asking for help, My problem is as follows.

Malwarebyes detected "Trojan.MSIL.injector" in the trainer I just downloaded for the game "The Forests"

which is currently in Alpha build and available on steam.
Icontacted the game site I got the file from they say that it's a false positive and i should contact you and get you to remove it,
is there anyway I can send the file to you so you can scan it, as you need a members account to download this file

that way you scan it and if nothing is found remove it from the false positve list.
I have never had any problems with the Game trainers from www.cheathappens.com before, as they state bewlow each file"This file has been scanned and is virus and adware free. Some trainers may set off generic or heuristic notifications with certain antivirus or firewall software."
This is a link to the download page http://www.cheathappens.com/20363-PC-Forest_The_cheats, if you want t check it out, or i can send you my file directly as it's

Please zip and attach the file to this thread, so we can investigate and fix if needed. I can't download it from the link you've given since I have to sign up for it first + fill in a survey.

Also include your malwarebytes log with the detection listed in it.

Note - Game Trainers do indeed trigger generic detections by AVs (which is most probably the case here too).
