Computers showing up as no status

Recommended Posts

Some of the computers on our domain are showing up as no status. Malwarebytes and MBAE are installed, up-to-date, and have a network connection. Even some desktops are showing no status, despite having an always present connection (they never sleep). All machines are configured the same, they have the Malwarebytes Managed Client installed.

The log goes from 9-8 to 9-15, but I only saw one of these.

It seems the problem is related to user login. As soon as I logged into the PC, it started reporting. This PC is more of a general use PC, and isn't always logged in (sometimes not logged in for days). It would be nice if the client reporting feature would work regardless of user log in.

Hey Tmontney,

That is correct. A user needs to be logged in so the program can do the normal operations of scanning, updating, and reporting to the management server. But I will submit your feedback on this to our developers to see about making a change on this.

Thank you,

Ron S

Yes, it would be a great addition to allow reporting to management server to be active without user log in, especially in our environment. It's just easier to keep track of our AV (especially version numbers).
