SueC Posted September 14, 2015 ID:989930 Share Posted September 14, 2015 I'm getting a lot of pop ups saying MalwareBytes has blocked a malicious website and most of the time it's on Facebook. Should I worry? I've run thorough MG scans, virus scans, and several others and found nothing. But as soon as I go on facebook again it's popping up. I'm using MB premium and MB Exploit free. I'm assuming that if it's blocking it then that's a good thing. Just wondering why it does it so much.
daledoc1 Posted September 14, 2015 ID:989938 Share Posted September 14, 2015 Hello: It sounds as if MBAM is doing its job, blocking bad content, on those pages. But we don't have enough info to know for sure from your post.If you would like some expert help checking, such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.I suggest that you might want to please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers. It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue - the helper will guide you through scanning and (if needed) cleanup. Thanks,
