Malicious Website Blocked

A few days ago, all of the computers in our office started displaying this message periodically:


Malicious website blocked



Port: 59995

Type: Outbound

Process: c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe


Scan with both MalwareBytes and McAfee does not find any malware/virus on the computers.


Any suggestions?

There was a recent, specific issue for some Avast users/Verizon FiOS users with this IP block, as explained here.
However, since you are NOT running Avast, the IP blocks might be a sign of malware infection.
It would be a good idea to get some free, expert help checking the system.

We are not permitted to review scan logs or work on possible malware-related issues here in this section of the forum.
Such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.
