Curiosity about netstat -b

Recommended Posts

Hello, guys, I'm new here and I have an curiosity about netstat -b using mbam.

I found this 'falcon 951' and I think a little strange; because I don't have much knowledge about it.

So, I asked to my friend and he said: Can be the real time protection of mbam.

Anyone can confirm this, please? Thank you for reading. :3

Hello Gab1989 and :welcome:

The "falcon951:http" entry you have documented does not relate to any edition of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) in any manner.

To clarify, in your example JPEG above, you have likely discovered that the [mbam.exe] is simply a continuation of the line directly above it.

Although other Windows netstat command variations would be able to yield more definitive data, Microsoft's TCPView utility might be able to help you even further, and it provides color coded display lines in almost real time. Please also consider using TCPView in conjunction with Microsoft's Process Explorer utility for even greater enlightenment.

Or, finding the PID associated with falcon951 (netstat -bo) should enable you to translate to a process or service executable name.

Thank you.
