MBAE Free Settings

Hi:

Until Pedro arrives:

"Log protection events" is just what it says -- when MBAE protects a shielded application, the event is logged in the program logs.

"Show notification traybar tooltips" is just what it says -- MBAE will notify the user of events and other notifications via a tooltip from the MBAE system tray icon.

AFAIK, you cannot edit the Advanced Settings with MBAE Free -- you would need the paid, Premium version for that.

There is more information in the pinned forum topics HERE and HERE.

Thank you,

Hi iamauser, you can tweak the advanced settings. Many users here and in other forums have reported turning on all mitigations for all profiles without any negative effects. If you run into problems you can always use the "restore defaults" button to go back to factory settings.

Thanks for the important correction, @pbust.

I stand corrected.

Apologies,
