Can't install on MacBook

Recommended Posts

I managed to get malware on my new MacBook and support sent me to Malwarebytes.  Fixed the problem, so I thought I would load it on my old MacBook.  On the install screen, Malwarebytes has a circle with a line through it, and it won't go "into" the Applications folder.

Could this be because I have an older operating system (10.6.8)? Or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks!

That is likely the problem.  The website says 10.7 is the minimum OS level.  I'm Mac-ignorant, so excuse what may be a stupid question...can you update your OS or are you locked in on 10.6.8?
