Just purchased Premium... still no Real-Time Protection

Recommended Posts

Hi...

I just purchased the Anti-Malware Premium and I still do not have Real-Time Protection.  I tried the reinstall using the directions in the pinned post, but no luck.  It still says I am not fully protected and that Real-Time Protection is available with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium.  (But my licsense says its Premium and at the top of the window it says  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home (Premium) 2.1.8.1057).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and :welcome: :

If rebooting the computer does not resolve your issue, these are the next steps:

EDIT: If you have already performed a proper clean reinstall from a Windows Admin account and wish to skip to step #2 (the diagnostic logs), that's fine:

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Hi...

I just purchased the Anti-Malware Premium and I still do not have Real-Time Protection........

And you are not alone.....  if you go to Page 3, Post #56 of the Thread below you will find a very short summary of the "Real-time Protection" (not) issue.

@Tabvla:

There are many reasons for failure to activate RTP.

These include, among other things, malware infection, corrupted installation, software conflicts and other problems.

Nor has the OP told us whether s/he has installed or is running MBAM from an LUA.

As such, without the requested diagnostic logs & other details from the OP, it's impossible to say at this time whether the OP's issue is in any way related to the problem being discussed in the other user's thread here.

It would be best not to confuse matters for the OP here by cross-posting about what might be a different issue entirely, based on insufficient information.

Thank you, though, for your input.

@pilk706:

Do you still need help with your issue?

If so, it would help if you would please follow the advice in my earlier reply and report back, attaching the requested diagnostic logs as a starter.

Thanks to you both,
