Mayank108 Posted August 30, 2015 ID:986218 Share Posted August 30, 2015 My PC is connected to the internet via a proxy server. While there is no way to configure the same in Malwarebytes anti Rootkit. I tried to set the proxy via the command line netsh tool but the application won't still update. Is there any way that I can get the latest definitions for the app?
daledoc1 Posted August 30, 2015 ID:986220 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Hello and : Just to clarify: are you talking about MBAR Beta or about MBAM? MBAR Beta is a powerful Beta tool designed to be used with expert guidance on heavily infected systems. Moreover, much of the technology has been incorporated into MBAM.IOW, it's not designed for routine use by home users on their uninfected personal computers. MBAM is easily configured to update behind a proxy (at least for most proxies). So, please let us know if that's the issue with which you need help. Thank you,

Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted September 1, 2015 Root Admin ID:986477 Share Posted September 1, 2015 You would have to make an exclusion in your proxy to allow it.
