Yesterday, I ran Chameleon, but the mbam-killer phase timed out, then mbam-killer exited.

A scan ensued, but not confident it is legit because of mbam-killer not completing

 

When I went back to find Chameleon again, I could not find it, and I have no search capability to find it.

It looks as if you are working with Twin on an infected computer over in the malware removal section here ?
 
If this is the SAME computer, then it would be best to continue to work with him over in that other thread.
First of all, malware removal work (and work possibly infected computers) is not permitted here in this particular sub-section of the forum.
And, working on the same computer in two different venues simultaneously can be confusing, inefficient and even damaging to the system.
Please stay with Twin in that other thread until he gives you the "all clear" -- he can assist you with running Chameleon and other tools, as needed.
 
If this is a DIFFERENT computer, then we suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue - the helper can assist with running MBAM and any other tools needed for cleanup.
