should mbae.dll be present in Minecraft?

Recommended Posts

I created a custom shield for the launcher and it successfully protects the Minecraft launcher itself.

However, it does not seem to inject the .dll into the Minecraft javaw.exe(the game itself shows up as javaw.exe) that launches from the launcher.

Since javaw.exe has a default shield, shouldn't it inject into the Minecraft javaw.exe?

It does not show the mbae .dll in the Minecraft javaw.exe in Process Explorer, or a notification in the protection logs saying that its shielded.

All my other custom shields work perfectly and i have the latest version of mbae as well.

Please do the following:

1- Run "services.msc" and stop the MBAE service

2- Delete the contents of the hidden "C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit" directory

3- Start the MBAE service.

4- Open Minecraft using the launcher

5- Create a ZIP archive of the contents of the directory from step (2) above and post it here.
