MBAM not activating

I'm not sure if this is the right topic to post on, but.........I purchased Malwarebytes Premium Aug. 5th , in the morning, & it has already been deducted from my checking acct. & I can't even get them to send me the activation key, I have emailed them 3 times, they say they are  busy & will get to my email ASAP,how long does it take them ? Is tihs par for the course? It is lousy , if it is.I wish I hadn't paid it!

Please forgive me if this is not where I should post..............

If the product is not working correctly let's try a clean removal and reinstall of the program.

 

  • Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest version. MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue then please read the following and post back the requested logs. - Diagnostic Logs

Just to add to what AAdvancedSetup has posted, if you bought Malwarebytes directly from the Malwarebytes website, then the sale went though cleverbridge..... below is how you can get your ID and KEY

You should contact cleverbridge.....

If you lost your ID and License Key then send an email to: cs@cleverbridge.com

When you get the email Print it out

Ok , You paid with Paypal but WHERE did you buy it from?

 

As per all of the advice offered by @Firefox and @Porthos....

 

And have you checked your junk mail and spam folders to be sure the confirmation emails did not land there by mistake?

 

The confirmation email from the Malwarebytes online store (via cleverbridge) is usually nearly instantaneous, once the payment has gone through...

I haven't uninstalled & reinstalled because I don't have my key, etc. should I go ahead & do that? I gave up emailing support, they just say they are busy & will get to me when it's my turn.First one of those was 2 dAYS AGO.nstalled yet because I never got my key, etc. should I go ahead & do that?

Alas, there's not much else we can do here directly in the forum.

We don't have access to the information necessary to sort license and payment issues.

 

If you purchased from the Malwarebytes online store, your best bet would be to follow the advice @Firefox offered here, and continue to work the Malwarebytes Support team and with cleverbridge

 

In the interim, you may wish perform a CLEAN REINSTALL of MBAM -- the setup wizard will offer a 14-day Trial with the full, premium features, while you sort out the licensing issues.

(NOTE: 1 Trial per PC per MBAM program version)

Yes, I did all that, & entered my email address, I just checked out PayPal, & see my payment was sent to " B Money" whatever that is, it has a gmail address sounds phony to me,I closed my PayPal acct. I had never used it before,  .I'm going to uninstall & reinstall the trial, them I will buy it through the malwarebytes site, I'm just out my money.You  said the malwarebytes site sends the key, & whatever is needed right away , right ?

Yes, typically transaction are almost immediate. Don't know any "B Money" and we don't use any gmail accounts. Unfortunately it does look like you may have been scammed. I would highly recommend making the purchase directly on our site if you want to purchase the program.

Ok, thanks............I decided I had been scammed when I checked that PayPal receipt again, I have  the premium trial offer  now, with 13 days to go, I think, so then I will buy it from the website, thanks for all your help.That's the first time I've ever been scammed, it pisses me off :-)
