Over an hour to update definitions?

Is it normal for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to take over 45 minutes just to CHECK for definition updates, and well over an hour by the time it has applied them?

 

The ensuing scan took only 11 minutes, and found no problems.

Also, during the Update, and after it, I got a popup message telling me my definitions were out of date. The same as this one posted in another Update topic. http://i59.tinypic.com/ejbwy9.png

No, it doesn't sound "normal" for a database update to take over an hour, even on a slow connection and even if the update were a "complete" database, rather than an incremental update.
 
Can you please tell us:
>> How do you connect to the internet (dial-up, DSL, cable, other)?
>> Is you connection wired or wireless?
 
ALSO, please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)

My internet connection is ADSL, by ethernet cable.

 

Producing the logs wasn't as straightforward as it sounded, due apparently to being sandboxed by Comodo Security. I am attaching the logs, though. (As soon as I find an Attach button.)

The logs indicate a possible infection I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.
