[SOLVED] anti exploit premium wont start windows 10

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it will not start and a little banner comes up with anti exploit has been shut down because it failed to open,or when you try to install it also says another version is running on machine in applications.how do you do a clean uninstall.

malwarebytes anti malware is running fine.also when trying to delete in program files it gives same message.

i have reinstalled it to programm files instead of the x86 files and it seems to be running now,though not showing up in dialog box.

You shouldn't force an install to ProgramFiles instead of (x86).

 

Try the following:

 

1- Close all running apps

2- Uninstall MBAE from Control Panel

3- Delete C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit

4- Reboot

5- Download and install the latest version from https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbae

thanks for your help Pedro,done it like you said and it as uninstalled and  installed like a dream and working properly,the secret was you have to stop it running before uninstalling.
