DrWeb false positive with mbae-svc

Hi, Malwarebytes i have Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit latest version. So i opend Process Explorer just to see what's going on and virustotal.com found that mbae-svc is infected with DLOADER.Trojan detected from DrWeb https://www.virustotal.com/el/file/b0b7e41cb28482307cf4a3dd1909d277c661a73aa03e552db6aaa71f017c9e19/analysis/1438041375/

While it's correct to say that DrWeb alleged the service was DLOADER.Trojan, a more accurate portrayal is that DeWeb was the only one of 56 anti-virus engines at VirusTotal that asserted a problem... the other 55 said the file is okay... and so the bottom-line conclusion there is that "   Probably harmless! There are strong indicators suggesting that this file is safe to use."

 

If you're using DrWeb on your system, you should contact them (forum, website, etc.) to report their detection as a probable False-Positive.

Thanks for the reply. No i don't use DrWeb, i have AVG internet security. I also scaned the Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit folder with AVG internet security & Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and both came up with clean results.

Obviously a false positive from DrWeb.

Will rename the title of this threat to something less alarmist and move it to the Questions sub-forum.
