set.tidaltv.com in Exclusions list

Recommended Posts

My computer has been slowing down considerably. Takes 5-30 seconds to refresh a web page or open a program. My MalwareBytes (2.1.8.1057) scan runs every night at 2:00AM. I just looked at the exclusions list and saw set.tidaltv.com. I didn't put it there. How did it get there and what do I need to do to get rid of it?

Thanx.

Hello and :welcome: :

MBAM lacks the ability to automatically set exclusions.

They must be set by the user.

Perhaps someone else with access to the computer might have done so?

We are not permitted to work on possible malware-related issues here in this section of the forum.

Such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you might want to please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.

A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue - the helper will guide you through scanning, cleanup and repair.

Thank you,
