mbamservice.exe taking 100% CPU and 100% disk on startup

Lately, my computer has been slow only on startup. So I decided to open up task manager and I saw mbamservice.exe taking up 100% of CPU and disk on startup. It does this for about a few minutes then goes down. But it has been happening for some time. I've been getting quite annoyed about it lately. How do you fix this?

As we don't know what version of MBAM you are running, or any other system details, let's start here:

• Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
• If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
