Malwarebytes products support Windows 10?

Recommended Posts

We can understand (and appreciate) your excitement.  We plan to be able to support Windows 10 on its release date, but let's see what the next 27 days have to offer in terms of features, bug fixes, modifications, etc.

You'll get a much better answer from us after Microsoft locks down exactly what Windows 10 is.

Hello,

Quoting the company's position about support for Windows 10, from https://support.malwarebytes.org/customer/portal/articles/1995878-does-malwarebytes-support-windows-10-?b_id=6438

Windows 10 is currently only available as a Technical Preview from Microsoft and not a final release.  Since Technical Previews are subject to frequent updates and changes that could have unknown and unexpected consequences, Malwarebytes only supports officially released versions of operating systems.  We are actively testing our products for compatibility with the latest Technical Previews and we expect to fully support Windows 10 once it is officially released.  Until that time Malwarebytes does not support Windows 10 and we do not recommend installing our products on any preview version.

If you are running the preview, the company cannot help you out if you run into some trouble on your machine.

When and if MS officially has published the "release" and after you have that installed, the company will be able to help you, as regards our software product.

That said, and to go beyond that, I can tell you that our Version 2.1.8 does run on Windows 10.

That said, keep in mind that WIN10 Preview is still evolving and the final "product" has yet to be at hand.

For example, MS made 3 sets of "tester" builds just this last week.   It ain't finalized.
