Hello everyone.

I'm new to this forum.

I just recently installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and scanned my laptop. Somewhere along the process my internet connection stopped working. Getting this error message 'Unable to connect to proxy server'on all my browsers.I have no idea what to do. A bit of googling led me to this forum. I have seen the other posts regarding the same topic, but I created a new one since all the instructions given there were specific to the users who posted.

I really cannot do any of my projects without an active internet connection. I'm posting this from my cellphone.

Please help.

I'm using Windows 8.1 62 bit.

And here are the Scan logs.

Hello and :welcome: :

OOPS!
We can't work on malware removal here in this particular section of the forum.
Such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you might want to please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue - the helper will guide you through cleanup and repair, including repair of your internet connection.

Thanks,

I have posted it in the Malware Removal Help section. How do I remove it from here?

Hi:

Yes, I see that you have now created a new post in the malware removal section here. :)

Please be patient and wait for a helper to pick up your thread there.

Then, please stay with the helper until you are given the "all clear".

As for this thread here, there's no need to remove it.

The forum mod team may lock it (to keep others from posting in it) and they may move it here.

But there's no need to worry. :)

Take care,
