Scan Crashes

Hiya,

 

So i recently installed MBAM for android, the issue i have is that when i run a scan the scan gets to around 200 scanned files then crashes and starts again from the start, i assume this isn't the intended behaviour and i made a tweet about it and was instructed to post here

 

Samsung Galaxy S6 (Standard no Edge)

Android 5.0.2

Rooted

 

I can provide you copies of any log files if you tell me where i am supposed to locate them etc

Thanks for contacting us, the behavior you're seeing has been resolved. The fix will be in our next update to be released soon. You could try clearing out the apps cache in Settings > App Management and see if the helps, it has helped other customers.

Didn't help sadly, app gets a little further but still crashes

I have a similar issue. The AT&T Galaxy phones come with Lookout Security preinstalled. It seemed to crash for me when i got to the Lookout file. I actually made this account to report the crash issue on my devices with Lookout installed.

Could Lookout use an anti inspection technique that crashes mbam?

No, I don't think this is related to Lookout and a conflict. This is more of an issue related to Samsung devices, our fix will hopefully be out soon.
