SDKDatabaseLoadDefaults failed

Recommended Posts

I have the same error. It was at first same wording but code:1812. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have uninstalled, used ccleaner to remove all traces, installed new copy, I have tried upto #7 using Chameleon, I tried running thru HirensBootCD and running it thru there, and now I'm plum out of ideas.

Also I ran TDSkiller from Kaspersky, no threat, IOBIT no threat, Kaspersky Virus Scan, no threats.

Hello cardgunner and welcome to Malwarebytes forum.

First, you need to know this is not a indication of an infection.  So please do not run anymore other "tools".

Especially, not anything from "iobit".   They have a poor reputation and have been caught in the past stealing our company's definitions.

see this link .

This "error" is regrettable. It is fixable.  It should also be noted it does not mean that your pc is not protected.  You can still see that the real-time protections are on and active.

Sometimes during a manual or automated scans, or during a automated Update run, you may receive the following error messages:

SDKDatabaseLoadDefaultsLoad failed with code:2
SDKDatabaseLoadDefaultsLoad failed with code:1812

These errors may occur when two "automated scheduling" jobs  are occurring at or very near the same time.
This usually happens as a result of a scheduled update and a scheduled scan that are configured near or on the same time.

For the SDK fail error code, I need you to check your scheduled scans.

Open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware > Settings > Automated Scheduling

Do you have more than 1 Threat and 1 Update scheduled?
If you have more than 1 each, delete all the extras

Next:

Please open Malwarebytes.

Open Malwarebytes (MBAM) > History > Quarantine > Delete All
Open Malwarebytes (MBAM) > History > Application Logs > Delete All

Click the Settings Tab

Click Advanced Settings make sure Enable Self-Protection Module is unchecked

Now Right Click the MBAM icon down by the clock and select Exit

Install the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware latest database by following the link below.

http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbam/

Save the file and double-click it to begin the installation.

It will install over the top so you won;t need to add your ID / Key

Restart the pc, run a new Threat Scan and let me know if that took care of it.

  • Root Admin

Also I ran TDSkiller from Kaspersky, no threat, IOBIT no threat, Kaspersky Virus Scan, no threats.

The company behind this product was found to be stealing the MBAM database.

Personally I would not trust installing any software from a company that resorts to stealing someone's technology to sell their product.

Please see the following links and make up your own mind if you want to keep this on your system. If needed, your malware helper can help you remove it.
