Set the pop-up blocker in your browser

This is intended as a guide on how to set the pop-up blocker feature that is built in to your internet browser program.

 

The exact method is different in each browser.  

In Internet Explorer:
it is Tools > Internet Options > Privacy

 

In Firefox:
Tools > Options > Content

 

 

 

in Google Chrome:
and under the wrench (gear)
Click Settings > scroll down and find Privacy section.
click on Content settings...

scroll down and find Pop-ups
Be sure to have on ( click ) the line marked
"Do not allow any site to show pop-ups"

 

For browsers with no Menu Bar showing  click Alt or Alt + V first to get to the View menu.
