MBAM Schedule not recognising end of Day Light Savings

Recommended Posts

I think I have read about this before but I wonder why MBAM's schedule doesn't recognise the end / start of Day Light Savings?  Surely MBAM should notice a change in the clock and adjust itself accordingly?

Maybe something to consider for the next version of MBAM?

Yes, this is a bug in version 2.x.

The developers are aware (for example, see here).

The fix did not make it into

As a workaround, you may change your existing task schedule for the scan --- be sure to change both the desired scan time AND a new starting date (e.g. the day you make the change).

Or, you may delete the entire scheduled scan task and create a new one, with the desired settings and a new start date.

The default settings are for a daily Threat scan, which is sufficient for most users.

NOTE: be sure to untick (disable) the advanced scheduler option for "check for updates before scanning", if you want the scheduled scan to run at the exact scheduled time.

Thank you,
