OUTLLIB.DLL - Trojan.Agent.ED - false positive?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

A MBAM scan today warned about Trojan.Agent.ED in OUTLLIB.DLL, which seems to be part of my Microsoft Outlook email client. Is this a false positive? Advice appreciated. File attached as RAR archive.

I restored from quarantine and updated signatures at approximately 12:10 AM GMT, then scanned again, and this time no detection was reported. MBAM originally warned about a module, two registry keys and the DLL.

Thanks.

Confirmed F/P of several Office 2003 components in database 2015.4.2.6....

update to database 2015.4.2.7 , and it hopefully should be fixed.

Database v2015.04.02.06 had a false positive on a number of MS Office (2003?) related files. (See other topics)

Database v2015.04.02.07 fixed this. So, if you already updated to database Database v2015.04.02.07 or newer and restored the affected filed from quarantine you're fine again.
