MBAE Protection is not started the anti exploit process will be terminated

Recommended Posts

Running the latest version of MBAE Premium. Read your post instructions, When starting up the pc SAS jumps in there and updates, as does MBAM Pro, & Avast Internet Security.  Maybe MBAE timed out?  Had to reboot pc to start MBAE.  Running Windows 7 Professional,  64 bit,  any ideas? TIA.......

yes!  right after the re-boot MBAE started normally.(and OK today also)..  Avast is not the free one, its the Internet Security for $19.95 a year with firewall, so I put some MBAE Premium exclusions in Avast IE + SAS. With a download of 1.5megs, SAS jumps in there 1st thing in the morning and puts appx: 60 seconds of there downloads in here.   Will put MBAE in Exclusions in SAS, Avast IE,  thx. for the reply. Will post back if it happens again.. or theres something else you want me to do....regards....

  • 4 weeks later...

I just found this thread after googleing the same error message.

I checked Task Manager, and the Malware-Bytes Anti-Exploit Service (MbaeSvc) was Stopped.

I restarted the service, and was then able to launch MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit without needing to reboot.

Eventvwr showed the error "MbaeSvc error: 0 StartServiceCtrlDispatcher failed."
